JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA – Robert Cole, known by his friends as Bob, started working at Florida Sound in 1985 when hired as a technician with sound and video talent. In 1993, he became the first shop manager who was ever hired from within, overseeing the installation and service departments. And if that in itself didn’t seem enough, in 1999 he and his devoted wife, Diana, bought the company! They both have kept the business flourishing and soulful. Where did Bob get his drive? He knows his entrepreneurial spirit came from his grandfather and he learned his sales savvy from his father, a successful salesperson for GM and Chevrolet back in the heyday of American automobile manufacturing and sales. And what about his Mom? Her determination, fortitude, and generous spirit can be seen in every action Bob takes.
