JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA – Daniel became part of the Florida Sound team in 2017 as a technician, installing and troubleshooting audiovisual systems. He was promoted to a project manager in 2025. We can affirm that audio and Southern living are in his veins. His blood-pumping passion for audio caught its rhythmic beat in high school which led to his pursuing college studies. Daniel has a Bachelor of Science degree in music; Engineering and technology from Elizabeth City State University (Elizabeth City, NC). His core classes covered music theory, aural skills, recording arts, and audio production. Of course, we have to mention that audio is not just a job but also something he enjoys as a skilled guitarist. Daniel also finds pleasure living here in beautiful North Florida. He's been married for 16 years to his wife that he affectionately calls “amazing” and they have a 9 year old son that they adore.

“Born and raised in North Carolina, I've also lived and worked in South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, and now Florida. Since college I've had numerous jobs, including audio recording and mixing engineer, TV broadcast production, video editing, live concert production (stagehand, monitor engineer, FOH engineer, system technician), and system installation. After a brief period of self-employment as a freelance audio engineer and consultant, I was blessed with the opportunity to join the Florida sound team. It's a great fit for me, and I'm thankful to continue to pursue my passion and grow in my field.”
